Windsor Castle was our destination this weekend. Partly because we hadn’t been in a while, and partly because one of us had never been. Introducing new routes to enthusiastic cyclists makes everyone happy, and the sunny day we had helped too. Especially this time of year when we’re all ready to shed that Gabba jersey or whatever your favourite cold weather kit of choice may be. Witnessing someone to the “No Cycling” sign at the end of The Long Walk with Windsor Castle in the background is a sure treat, and this time was no different. And then you tell them you’ve just ridden your bicycle beyond Heathrow. Where the fresh air is. Breathe in and let it fill your lungs because now we cycle back. Cheers to another great Sunday morning ride, and to Justin who allowed me to try out his carbon wheels for the ride home. Too bad he wanted them back.
